I've been a ship
sailing through a sea of turbulence
tossed about with no mooring, no anchor
Then we met
there was laughter
there were deep discussions about life, love, foolishness
we named all of our flaws and weaknesses, laughing at our cleverness
laughing away sadness
I set my heart on you
